What is Cristi's upcoming novel about?

At 12-years-old, Sage Anderson's family fell apart. That's when she crafted her “7 Steps to an Extraordinary Life” …to guarantee she would never become like her parents.
But on her 18th birthday, a college rejection letter destroys her perfect life plan.
Hiding her secret from her emotionally fragile mom, she escapes on a graduation camping trip to buy some time and figure out her next steps, before her mom finds out and freaks out.
But, in the wilds of the Northwoods, Sage is left to tackle her biggest questions and fears all alone while facing her arch nemesis: Mother Nature herself.
Amidst lightning storms, creepy woodland creatures, and a mysterious guy on a walkie-talkie, Sage must decide: cling to her self-reliance like she’s always done— or risk trusting God for a future she never imagined.

Hello again! Cristi here...

Did you know I've spent over twenty years helping people navigate life's transitions through pastoral ministry, life coaching, and speaking? Like my novel’s protagonist, Sage, I've experienced the devastation that comes when carefully crafted plans fell apart.

And, I’ve been frustrated by how confusing it can be to figure out what’s next!

Through those experiences, I discovered a powerful truth: You don't need clarity to move forward in God’s plans and purposes.

You need certainty about the God who is writing your story.

And, as you follow Jesus (even through the fog) you will grow in confidence and step into the plans He has for you.

Even when you don’t know what’s next, The Author does!

Through my novels and other resources, I hope to encourage readers like you to embrace uncertainty, trust God's plan, and discover your purpose!

God will be faithful to guide you as He unfolds your own Spirit-led storyline sure to exceed your expectations!

What beta readers are saying...

Q: Who are beta readers?
A: Beta readers are test readers who review an author’s manuscript before it is published.

"I loved this story so much!"

"This is a great book for teens struggling with things who might need some encouragement. I walked away with insights about God and how He works."

Addalyn, Age 16

"Exciting and funny, serious and heartbreaking."

"This novel is refreshingly clean and appropriate for girls from 12-100! It's engaging and uplifting and not at all pedantic or preachy.  You'll learn, or be reminded, to trust an unknown future to a known God, who has an unbelievable plan for every one of us."

Gloria, Christian Ministry leader

"The cliffhangers made me want to keep reading!"

"The book is wonderful! I love the characters and character development.  Sage’s transparency makes her likable and relatable. This book is engaging for the reader, showing them into relationship with God and modeling how to listen for God’s leading."

Erin, author & mom of 5

God designed you for His good reasons.

It's normal to question why you are here and what you were made to do... especially during times of change. That can lead to indecision and feeling stuck, waiting for that "someday" when God will make it all clear.

God wants you to experience greater certainty about who He is and His promises, even when you don't have clarity about what the future may bring. Understanding your purpose and identity in Christ will help you make the most of every day!
